This blog was built to share my travel experiences with friends, family, and other travel addicts. I graduated from Purdue University a couple of years ago (class of 2015) and now live in Seattle, where I work as a Consultant for West Monroe Partners. I grew up in a half-Greek, half-Swedish home in Minnesota so, although I didn't really think about it until I was much older, I had a pretty crazy-fun cultural upbringing! I grew up going to Greek school at church, singing in a Swedish choir, eating spanakopita and pastichio at Easter and lefse and lingonberry jam at Christmas. However, since culture is about so much more than food and language, they've helped inspire me to learn about people and how they live around the world. I've loved getting different perspectives from both sides of my family and learning about the values that inspire their lives. As a result, I have had some pretty unique experiences that I love to share with people. I have traveled with family, friends, by myself, and with research groups and love to learn about other's experiences. |
