Our next adventure took place near the border of Myanmar where we started the day by watching the sun rise over the bridge on the River Kwai. We then drove to a tiger sanctuary run by monks where we spent the morning feeding, bathing, and playing with the tigers. Pretending we were Jasmin for the morning wasn't even the best part of the day - we spent the afternoon playing with an elephant named Apple in the river. Beyond an amazing day <3
Victoria and I decided to start our trip to Thailand down south in the islands so we could relax and try to get rid of our Chicago/Seattle induced paleness. We spent most of our days in the water or eating and loved every second of it. We went on a bioluminescent plankton tour, snorkeled off the beaches, rode on longboats, tried lots of weird food, and got massages almost every night. The perfect way to kick off our best friend adventure!
